THE LONG AND DETAILED VERSION, THE REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
Admission to scientific sessions
When you register for the congress, you get access to everything in the scientific congress program except some of the workshops which comes at an additional cost. To be more specific about what is not included, the registration does not grant access to the full-day pre-congress workshops (31/8) nor to half of the in-congress workshops (1-3/9). About half of the in-congress workshops (half-day workshops 1-3/9) are included in the congress fee. In the scientific congress program included in the registration you will find all symposia (about 90 minutes long sessions with three to five presentations), all keynote presentations, all clinical roundtable talks, as well as all panel discussions. There will be between 12 and 15 parallel sessions. Suffice to say you will get A LOT of scientific and clinical input for the congress fee.
Access to Poster area and to Exhibition area
Besides oral presentations, the congress will have a poster area where a vast number of research projects will be presented in poster form. The posters will change regularly during the congress, and during specific time intervals the person behind the poster will be standing in front of it to answer all questions you might have. The congress will also feature an exhibition area where our sponsors will have stands to present themselves and exhibitions on CBT-related books from publishers. The EABCT 2016 will also feature a novelty in form of an exposition which will embody the theme of the congress, Roots and present branches of CBT, which will seek to engage you in the history of the CBT field as well as your own CBT-history, provide you with a concrete overview of where our field stands at the moment, and try to predict our CBT-future.
Programme and other material
When you register at the congress venue in the beginning of the congress, you will receive a printed programme giving an overview of all presentations and events during the congress. In digital form you will also receive an Abstract Book with detailed information about all parts of the scientific programme, as well as a Congress Magazine with interesting articles and interviews, recommendations about things to do while in Stockholm/Sweden, behind-the-scenes information about the congress, and much more.
Your personalized congress badge, which should be worn during all times at the congress, will have information about your name, nationality, occupation, as well as optional personalized information to increase social interaction during the congress. If you want everyone to know that you are “1st wave for life”, an “ACT fanatic”, a “Cognitive guru” or perhaps something non-CBT-related such as “Ultra-marathon runner”, then this is the place to let everyone know.
Lunch, Coffee/tea (Thursday to Saturday)
The registration covers lunch and coffee/tea in the mornings and afternoons from Thursday to Saturday (1-3/9). Please note that only those who have registered for a pre-congress workshops will receive lunch/coffee/tea during the 31/8.

During the opening ceremony there will be talks by the organizers, the EABCT president, an opening keynote, followed by something spectacular to amuse and inspire. The opening ceremony is then followed by a huge reception where all participants are invited to mingle while being served complimentary snacks and drinks.

The City of Stockholm and County of Stockholm have generously invited our congress participants to a reception at the Stockholm City Hall, home of the Nobel dinner. During the reception we will be given a tour of the city hall, listed to a talk by a city official, and recieve a complimentary buffet. The event will take place on Thursday evening (1/9), but please note that the number of available tickets to this free event is limited to 1200 and will be provided on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to register as early as possible to make sure that you receive a ticket.
